Case studies, projects and completed work go here. Structurally it's much like articles, but its categories and layout are separate.
When to use the portfolio instead of articles
For image-led content laid out in a grid, where the reader is looking rather than reading — design case studies, completed installations, product-in-use photography.
For text-led long-form content meant to be indexed by search engines, use articles.
The benefit of keeping them apart: your blog categories (skincare know-how, brand story) don't end up in the same dropdown as your case study categories (residential, commercial).
Question: Can portfolio items have tags too?
Yes, and they're a completely separate set from article tags. The portfolio has its own category and tag management pages.
